Q. What does Alkaline Water do for you?

A.  It increases the rate of water absorption in the body and gently detoxifies your entire system. Alkaline water helps the body's metabolism operate at an optimum level, thus preventing disease, improving health, and reversing the effects of aging.

*Doctors in Japan have treated patients for over four decades with Ionized, Alkaline Water. They consider the use of this healthy water to be a medical necessity and regularly prescribe it for treatments of many diseases.

Q.  How much Ionized Water should I drink a day?

A.  We support the standard recommendation by doctors' of eight  8 ounce glasses of water a day. However, Ionized Water is more hydrating than tap or bottled water Meaning, because the molecules are smaller and wetter they absorb into the blood stream faster. A person in optimal health may need less water than someone who has health issues.

Q.  Can I cook with Alkaline Water?

A.  Yes! In fact, your food will taste better and still retain its nutritional value.. Plus, Ionized Water boils faster so your not only saving the vitamins and minerals, but time as well.

Q.  What does the Ph panel stand for?  And what level should it be at?

A.   PH means Potential Hydrogen. A Ph balance between  9 and 11 will neutralize harmful stored acidic wastes and begin the detoxification process. It is best to start out drinking one or two glasses of ionized alkaline water a day at ph level 1. Then slowly work your way up over several weeks.

Q.   Will I need to replace the filter?

A.    Once a year is the standard for replacement. An indicator light on the unit will let you know when it time to replace your filter.

Q.   Do I need special tools to install the Ionizer unit?

A.   All you will need is pliers, scissors and/or knife for self-installation. The unit can be installed on a standard faucet in less than ten minutes. If you have a non-standard faucet you may need to purchase an inexpensive part from your hardware store that will attach to the faucet. Note: You do not need a plumber for any of these procedures.

Q.   Why does my Ionizer Unit beep initially for 10 seconds?

A.   The beeping indicates the cleaning cycle. This is a process where acid water comes through the alkaline outlet and alkaline water comes through the acid outlet. This is done to sterilize the outlet tubes and increase the life of your unit. DO NOT drink the water during this period.

Q.  Can I buy alkaline water in the store?

A.  Alkaline water is not yet available in stores. High pH alkaline water must be bottled in glass. If ionized, alkaline water is stored in plastic bottles the chemicals from the plastic will leach into the water and eradicate the ionization process.
